Components

  • n. 1 video camera
  • n. 1 tripod
  • n. 1 monitor 25 "
  • n. 1 magnifying glass, 50 x 70 cm
  • n. 1 magnifying glass holder
  • n. 1 A/V cable, 10 metres long

Instructions

The magnifying glass is placed on its holder. The monitor is placed below the magnifying glass. The monitor is connected to the video camera. The video camera is located behind the magnifying glass, approximately 2m away. The video camera sees the magnifying glass and a portion of the space surrounding it, so the connected monitor transmits an image in which a screen, consisting of the magnifying glass, can be seen in the middle of a space. Participants, alone or in groups, play with their own image, which is transmitted by the monitor with all kinds of aberrations created by the magnifying glass. So, participants can amuse themselves in freeing their imagination in the strangest combinations.
